The 20th marked an important day for the wreck. It was the opening of the Gnalic shipwreck exhibit in the Croatian Historical Museum. The entire team took a trip down to Zagreb where the museum is located for the opening. In the morning, we took a trip to the beautiful national park Plitvice Lakes for some fun before the big night. We were delighted to be able to meet the director of the museum, Ankica Pandzic, and the rest of her staff. It was an honor for all the members, Americans and Croatians, to get to participate in the opening of the exhibit! Despite not returning till very late that night, the trip was well worth it.
